Given the source, I’m taking this with a grain of salt. But it’s interesting enough to cover, given that Brittany Murphy died less than a year ago, age 32. According to Radar Online, Sharon Murphy is hoping to write a tell-all book. She was the mother-in-law of Simon Monjack, who died only months later of a similar set of obscure health problems. She was also the person who found them both unconscious, in the house they all shared, and called 911. ‘This book will be my way of celebrating and honoring her extraordinary life and career,’ Murphy told Radar. ‘Brittany was a kind, loving person who enjoyed each day; she was my life. I am looking forward to everyone reading the accurate account about my daughter, her life, loves and career.’ Brittany Murphy died last December, suddenly and unexpectedly, in news I’m still not fully over (yes,really). The actress went into cardiac arrest, following complications stemming from pneumonia. Monjack died five months later. Also from pneumonia. ‘A portion of the proceeds that I receive from the book will be donated to charity’, she added.
