Britney Spears Settles Lawsuit With Paparazzo

Britney Spears reached a financial settlement with a paparazzo whose foot she ran over, back in 2007.

The paparazzo got his foot run over by Spears’ white Mercedes back when she was going through her, um, troubled phase. The star was out, just about every day, driving in circles around LA. She drove for hours at a time some days, and so was swarmed by photographers everywhere she went.

Rick Mendoza, who was working for TMZ at the time, filed a lawsuit. The snapper made an angry shaky-shaky fist at Spears’ people. He claimed that she was too hopped up on Starbucks to drive, and that no reasonable person would have allowed her to get behind the wheel.

No amount for the suit has been officially released but the original demand was for between $200,000 and $230,000, covering damages and medical expenses.
