Today’s special reader submitted blind item…
This item relates to a well-known and well liked A list celebrity, well the ‘popularity’ bit is subjective, but she is very A list.
This story was based in Pittsburgh, where the star was performing on stage last week. The following exchange happened at a Tex-Mex restaurant, that my reader went to during the same period. The following exchange happened between themselves and the wait-staff.
The waitress told my reader that all day, last Thursday, the star’s manager was on the phone to the star’s people. The star wanted to have dinner at Tex-Mex once she was done performing at her show.
The star’s team kept calling the restaurant every five minutes, saying “DO NOT serve her any alcohol, any Red Bull, and if she wants coffee, it has to be decaffienated. Also, get the food server to do their best to steer her away from anything too cheesy or fattening.”
So, this star is being over-managed, even to the point that her food is being controlled. Which A lister is under this much control?

I love/hate these blind items; I love the gossip, but I hate the fact that I never can figure out who they’re talking about! For this one, though, as soon as I read “Red Bull” I thought, “Britney!” Google confirms that she was in the Pittsburgh area in the appropriate time frame, so I’m SO EXCITED that I might have actually gotten my first Blind Item guess right!
