Blake Lively is the Nylon magazine cover girl for the November 2009 issue.
The Gossip Girl actress, 22, rocks the cover in a black and white quasi-80s rocker look. Shame about the check shirt, which is more cowgirl than rocker, but homegirl still looks fierce.
We can assume that the lawd on high, and her Wikipedia, wouldn’t lie about her age and that she would have better things to do than edit pages herself. But a little birdy tells me you can add about five years onto the age she admits to. Same with her weight, where she is mocked for her curves and only makes things worse for herself by fibbing about that too. Naught naughty, curvy monkey.
Eight photos of Blake Lively for Nylon and her interview with the magazine.
- Blake to Nylon magazine on punking her friends: “I swipe my friends with, like, my phone or something, – I slide it in their butts. Like in middle school! You say ‘Visa! Mastercard!’ Just to give somebody a jump. I’m a prankster.”
- Blake to Nylon magazine on riding elephants on her recent vacation to Thailand, India and the Maldives: “Elephants are the most incredible creatures I’ve ever been around. You’re sitting in this water that they poop in, and somehow it’s not gross. You’re scrubbing the bottom of their feet and behind their ears…”
- Blake to Nylon magazine on how she relates to Serena: “I dress just like Serena! I own half her wardrobe, so it’s far too similar to the way I dress. I feel ridiculous at times with her – because I’m, you know, killing someone or marrying someone, but I look like me. I’m like, ‘Oh, this is absurd.’”
- Blake to Nylon magazine on her new film, The Private Lives of Pippa Lee: “I had a leash around my neck, and Julianne Moore was taking pictures. I thought, What am I doing with my life? What is happening? How is this a good idea?”
- Blake to Nylon magazine on her empathetic nature: “I feel a lot. I get really bad stomachaches all the time. So I went to a doctor, and he said, ‘You’re an feeler.’ I take on people’s pain a little too much.”
