“Exploiting the history of our family and the death of our father John Phillips for the release of a book is disgusting. Allegations of sexual abuse are not only hurtful, but malicious when he is not here to defend himself. When I was young my sister told me about this. It ruined my life and my relationship with my father.”
“Up till that point, I was a normal kid. I got good grades, loved my horse, was pretty innocent. I moved out to NYC, at 13. Started doing drugs, did not talk to my Dad anymore. I wrote that song, in response to what my sister had told me. I was deeply fucked up. I’m 29 now, I’ve talked to everyone who was around during that time, I’ve asked the hard questions. I do not believe my Sister. Our father is many things, This is not one of them. My Dad and I made up when I was 20, a year before he died. I’m sad I lost those years with him, and I lost those years at home.”
Bijou Phillips used her Twitter (via ONTD) to release a second response to the incest allegations of half-sister Mackenzie Phillips against their father, the late John Phillips. This is after initially corroborating the allegations along with sister, Chynna.

Sounds to me like she’s still f*cked up. At almost 30-years-old it’s time to grow up and stop blaming others for her “lost years” with her father.
Welcome back to the site Hilary. The back and forth on this is astonishing. This is such an odd statement for her to make and she is just going around in circles. I mean, really, it’s the most bizarre thing. They’re half a family at best and this whole episode and all the finger pointing is just sad.
No wonder homegirl’s a scientologist. Yeesh.
This continues to be screwed up, I can’t even look anymore
Um Index Magazine interview from 2000 Bijou? Ring any bells?

I’m not sure that I would say her, “official twitter,” considering that her twitter wasn’t verified. The fact that it’s now deleted makes it even more questionable.
Candace, thanks for the comment. There was no reason at the time to think that was not her official page… I’ll amend in a moment anyway.
Some much-linked/ referenced “celebrity” profiles are not yet verified. But, you are right, it’s not a good sign that since posting the page was pulled.
