Tina Knowles, mother of Beyonce and Solange, filed for divorce from husband Mathew. The couple have been together since the last ice age but decided to call it quits. The 29-year-long marriage could cause a rift that spreads further than their two daughters. Mathew was the manager of Destiny’s Child and Beyonce. Tina was the girls’ stylist. There is some serious bank to be split between the two. The middle-class couple were well-off even before entering the industry.
Tina filed the papers in Harris County, Texas. This may get ugly as it was alleged in early October that a woman named Alexsandra Wright was the mother of Mathew’s love child. No word from either rep as to the official reason for the split. According to Bossip, Tina filed the papers under the name Celestine Knowles as seen in the screen print above. The month-old legal documents are apparently no longer available to view due to confidentiality, but seem to be real.
