The singer took to the MTV Video Music Awards red carpet in a red mini dress.
Knowles went on to win the award for Video of the Year for Single Ladies, a song which she performed that night also. She kindly allowed Taylor Swift to make the speech on her behalf, after Swift was ambushed onstage by Kanye West while accepting a different award.
