Beyonce, 27, recently revealed that she is taking a two year break from her career, in order to focus on her private life.
This means that, essentially, as soon as she finishes her tour and ties up some loose ends, the world will have to look elsewhere for its weave-wearing daily dose of fierce.
I for one am going to be crying into my crackpipe tonight over this. I have nothing against Beyonda, I just don’t love her enough to grant her immunity from my rabid ramblings. I will admit the girl has pipes to rival anyone in the charts, she can dance and her shoe game is fiiiierce. The weave-glue showing all the time and the lack of acting talent not so much, but everyone has flaws. Easy target or no, I’ll be sad that I don’t get to watch this woman perform and see what interesting concoctions she can put together to shake the R&B game up.
Well, she gives not a damn what I think, nor how much the game is tearing up at the news. At the end of the ‘I Am… Beyonda/ Sucha Farce’ tour in November, the singer will be chillaxing with husband Jay-Z whom she secretly married in a secret ceremony last year.
“My priorities are slowly changing. So after this tour, I might be tired and want to take two years off,” she told a Scottish newspaper.
“I’ve worked hard enough to be able to do that. I’m in a very good place.” The singer told Marie Claire magazine. (via Showbiz Spy)

She has said that she’s taking breaks before. Whatever she does, I predict that she won’t have kids until her 30’s, like me, hopefully.

could this be code for she’s in the wee stages of have ing a wee one? or is this another one of those i’m quitting showbiz so come see me thigns (Cher, Celine dione, etc.) could be on the up and up, though. i mean, she has ben gong nonstop in the public eye sicne she was like 16 or something. even britany had time away (hard to belive since the papazii haven’t let the poor girl be)
I think this is slacking, I need my fix of weave, screaming down the mic and a fierce pair of shoesies. I am NOT pleased!
I don’t believe she’s going to take a break for two years. She’s probably lying just like her husband did when he said he was retiring.
