Beyonce Knowles has allegedly made a statement in the December 2008 issue of Elle magazine, which is a convtroversy waiting to happen. The 27-year-old reportedly told the fashion publication that Michael Jackson’s parents were “using” him as a child, so as to get out of their negative family situation.
The singer who also goes by Beyonda Farce/ Sucha Farce said:
“I grew up upper class. Private school. My dad had a Jaguar. We’re African-American and we work together as a family, so people assume we’re like The Jackson’s. But I didn’t have parents using me to get out of a bad situation,”
I checked out the lead and the source and from what I can tell, Farce HAS been smack talking the king of pop. I don’t think MJ’s parents used him for ill gotten gains, like some 70’s version of Lynne Spears. I think Momma and Poppa Jackson had children who had talent and they made the most with what they saw growing before them.

seriously, i don’t think she’s totally off base with what she said, but there was no reason to say it, especially in the public unless she’s just trying to create some press.

we should really think about what we’re saying nowadays because look people treated michael bad by saying a lot of things about him before he died and now that he’s gone..it kinda makes you wanna feel bad for him and get angry at the people who talked about him…like eminem he did a lot of mean things about michael in his videos. i have great respect for michael and his family may he rest in peace.

…it does say pretty clearly and is apparent in several places, for those who actually read the post, that this is from 2008. Is is obviously nothing to do with the death of Michael Jackson. Sigh.
