The Beautiful Life has been cancelled after only two episodes.
The first episode of The Beautiful Life aired last week and the second this week, to 1.5 million and 1 million views respectively. This is about as many people as went to see Jennifer’s Body and we all know what an enourmous success that movie was. Silliness aside for one moment, this kind of sucks balls. The show, not the ratings. Well, the ratings sucked too, but the sh*t-tastic show was always far more of a concern.
I watched the first episode of the show and I am yet to muster the energy to try to find the second episode online. Episode one of The Beautiful Life was rather a drawn out 80s-style melodrama, rife with stiff and uninspired caricatures. It was dull and nothing like the sessy fest it was pimped out to be.
The CW have the attention span and patience of me after mah meds run out and I have to rely on Mr Pibb to keep me medicated. The show only lasted two weeks. That’s less time than it takes for Khloe Kardashian to organise her Shrek-themed wedding for which, you may be interested to know, she was only paid $300,000 for coverage by OK! magazine.
Are TV networks not as impatient as a mo-fo these days? Did shows not used to be granted the luxury of running themselves into the ground and wasting oodles and oodles of money before they were pulled? The Beautiful Life cast, instead of running their show into the ground, were instead sent home and production shut down on Friday.

Wow! sucks for them. Guess Mischa Barton and Corbin Bleu’s fame (and the naked posters) couldn’t keep this thing on the air. Now they’ll live on forever in TV trivia as the first show cancelled in 2009-2010 season.
Now they’ll be pimping Melorse even more. Maybe they should do some naked posters with that cast, especially sicne they’re struggling, too…lol wait, maybe not, since it didn’t work so well for this one…hehehe
It sucks for them so bad that The Beautiful Life was cancelled after only being given two shots at getting ratings. I actually don’t think Gossip Girl was an overnight smash, it needed some time to gather steam. I don’t know anyone who saw episode two, which isn’t good, but it still could have turned into something non-sucky with a little more time. What the heck were they ever going to achieve after being sent home after two episodes.
