Ashlee Simpson and her husband Pete Wentz are to play a Bonnie & Clyde style couple in an upcoming episode of CSI: NY.

Ed’s note: Was being lazy when I first posted this and so didn’t watch straight away. I just watched it now, and it actually looks really good. For those too drunk or tired to watch, in short, the pair play a couple caught up in a drugs-related mess. Ashlee and Pete play a couple in the show.
I love Ash in the clip, very convincing and she can really act. Pete, not so much.
I always find it so strange when musicians have to turn to acting in order to stay relevant.
