There’s a new interview with Angelina Jolie about which I only know because it’s being live-tweeted in part on the 60 Minutes Twitter feed. In lieu of covering the piece in full, let’s just say it’s pretty classic Jolie save for quotes about ceremonially salting the bodies in her basement. Reassuring Bob Simon that ‘I’m still a bad girl’ (and, yes, Brad Pitt knows this too), the actress says ‘if this acting thing didn’t work out’ she would be a funeral director. She also says she’s amazed she’s still alive since ‘I did the most dangerous, and I did the worst, and for many reasons, I shouldn’t be here.’ And she doesn’t care about the tabloids because ‘it’s not what I spend my day caring about. I find them quite shallow & often very wrong.’ She also talks about her famous face in 60 Minutes Overtime.
