Amy Winehouse has returned home from the Caribbean, after being there for what seems like most of her adult life. The 25-year-old British singer reportedly cried after touching down at Gatwick airport.
Our beloved Wino looks a lot fuller in the face, and almost like she is in the early stages of regaining some of her famed 2003 era curves. The star has been hiding out at her home away from home, for eight months, and whatever they have in the water out there it’s done her some good. I’d speculated before that perhaps sunny weather and sitting by the beach was not the best cure for the cracky jitters, but shut my mouf. It’s times like this I’m glad I’m not a doctor. If I’d been charged with Wino’s care, I’d have stuck her in some bulllsh*t rehab like Promises in Malibu and she’d have escaped and been back on the pipe about six munfs ago.
Despite the tears, [Amy Winehouse's] spokesperson said: ‘She’s really happy to be back and can’t wait to catch up with family and friends.’
The Back To Black star looked a lot healthier than when she first left for the Caribbean – her once scabby and red skin replaced by a clearer complexion and even the odd freckle The singer had been staying on the island since Christmas to record her third album. (via The Daily Mail)
wow! what a difference some time in the Carriben makes, huh? she almsot looks attractive (not having the beehive helps) now she needs to get back in the studio and make some music! lol
She pretty much used to look like this back in the day. So glad she no longer looks like she is about to croak.
She’s such a beautiful girl with such a beautiful voice. Why doesn’t she get it? She’s got the world potentially at her feet with that voice, face, and body (OK, she still needs to get the body back).
There are entertainers that would kill for one tenth of her vocal prowess. Let’s face it, a lot of these female singers (for lack of a better word) with their manly voices can easily be put to shame by Les Ballets Trocadero.
Plus, she’s got no kids with scoliosis and she doesn’t have crone’s hands.
She had so much potential. I’m glad her record company don’t see her as a “Britney”. Someone to pimp out and push on tour, when they are still in no physical and mental shape to handle it.
