Amy Winehouse has been charged with common assault, proving that her relaxing 71 day vacation in St Lucia was not so relaxing after all. The ‘Back To Black’ singer was charged for allegedly punching a fan at a charity ball in Berkeley Square on the 26th September 2008, she is due in court later this month.

According to The Sun ”The troubled singer will appear in court later this month accused of hitting dancer Sherene Flash, who had asked for a photo”
A London Metro Police rep said, “The singer has been charged. She will appear on bail at City of Westminster Magistrates Court on Tuesday 17th March charged with common assault.”
