Upcoming theme weeks for American Idol will include Michael Jackson week, Motown week and Grand Ole Opry week, according to the Idol blog votefortheworst.com.
Grand Ole Opry week includes only artists that are a member of the Grand Ole Opry (of course!) and the site says it has obtained a list of artist’s songs that the contestants will choose from. The artists include Alan Jackson, Carrie Underwood, Brad Paisley, Dolly Parton, Garth Brooks and more.
why are they subjecting us to more country weeks! UGH!!! Michael Jakcson and Motown stuff is cool, though. Just hope they don’t butcher or mutate the songs like they’ve been doing the past few years.
They are lazy and it’s an easy win for middle American audiences.
