The extended trailer for the Tim Burton directed Alice in Wonderland movie has been released.
Alice in Wonderland was buried underneath a few tonnes of hype this Summer. Movie stills were released, the Tim Burton directed feature was pushed heavily during ComicCon, and the first trailer leaked prematurely. Rather than wonder down the garden path, with all kinds of smutty jokes about over-excitable Kool Aid-filled tweenagers and things leaking, let’s swiftly move on to talking more about the movie.
It looks like it will be amazing, in much the same way any film would be amazing if you were off your meds as you watched. The costumes looks divine, the sets are inspired, and Johnny Depp is the stuff of nightmares. As an adult, I can only just deal with Depp in his get up. Even after some months, he still looks like Madonna and Elijah Wood’s red-headed love child.
Terrifying and scarring small children aside, the fans are going to be going loopy over this trailer. Alice in Wonderland is out in cinemas March 5, 2010.

they need to hurry up and release this thing. it looks awesome, but all this hype could be a bit of overkill
The hype for this and Twilight New Moon is killing me. Twilight’s had about 10 trailers and pre-trailers. Ugh.
