This is such terrible and sad news. Those who have been glued to the current season of the Real Housewives of Atlanta will be all over this, but this is such sad news and a tragic loss of life that I have to acknowledge it here.
I’ve been watching the RHOA and had of course noted, during certain earlier episodes, the relationship between Kandi Burruss and her fiance at the time, A.J. Jewell. The pair and their relationship had been featured on-screen and so millions of people are going to be in shock at this news. In fact, when it broke a little earlier, many cried foul and assumed reports were false.
However, the news is true and they are not just rumours. A.J. Jewell, ex-fiance of Real Housewives of Atlanta star/ award-winning singer-songwriter Kandi Burruss, was killed tonight after a club brawl. According to My Fox Atlanta, Jewell was involved in an altercation at the Body Tap club on Marietta Boulevard.
Police said Jewell suffered a severe head injury during the fight and was taken to Piedmont Hospital, where he later died.
Burruss’ publicist, Lisa Nelson, confirmed to WSBTV reporter Brian Johnson, via Miss Jia, that news has reached Burruss and her family and she is of course devastated. Lastly, friend, Kim Zolciak, also on the RHOA, used her Twitter to confirm and ask people to pray. If I get more information later I’ll update… RIP.
At the moment, according to TMZ, no one is in custody over the death as yet.

I am so saddened and may god bless kandi an A.J family. All this crime going these days just disgusts, me I’ve always thought they made such a cute couple ever since Atlanta Housewives premiered, and ppl need to mind their own business how many kids he have shouldn’t be a issue. You’re not with him, I just feel sorry for his kids, and Riley, Kandi’s daughter he took her in as his own. Kandi hold your head up and may you R.I.P AJ
