Adam Lambert revealed the cover for forthcoming debut CD, For Your Entertainment. The album is set to drop Nov. 23, 2009.
Adam Lambert was the runner-up of American Idol, but he may as well have been the winner for all of the publicity he has gotten since. With all this glitter and photoshop in the world he doesn’t need to bother winning such a mediocre show. You don’t need to win Idol, you just need to stay on the show long enough to capture people’s attention and then skulk off to a world of Bacon Lube ™ and fairy dust. Both of these things have been used with wreckless and terrifying abandon, on the cover for Lambert’s debut album.
This is a very brave cover for the openly gay star to use. He could have played it safe, and done a cover that didn’t imply his team of ’shoppers were slowly going blind from being imprisoned in MooMoo Carey’s old ’shopper dungeon all of this time. It seems Lambert took over where MooMoo left off, and is doing enough ’shopping for himself and the whole of her career through the 1990’s and beyond.
We the fans of too much photoshop salute you and your guyliner, brave sir.
