Chelsea Clinton has become engaged to long-term boyfriend Marc Mezvinsky.

The only Clinton whom anyone can look at without bursting into laughter made the announcement at the end of last week. She is said to have made the announcement about the engagement to Mezvinsky by sending an email to friends, Friday November 27, 2009. The couple’s spokesperson is a little slow on the uptake, and seemed to have been improvising answers to questions asked. Rather than get a firm date, Clinton spokesman Matt McKenna told ABC News he believed the couple became engaged on Thanksgiving in New York.

The couple have been close since their teens, when both sets of political parents worked in DC. They also both attended Stanford University.

Lady GaGa proved how hard it is to dance in monster heels, during the first live performances of her The Monster Ball tour. The singer was performing the song Teeth on the first leg of her tour, in Montreal. She began to channel a little of Jennifer Lopez from her AMAs performance where she fell on her booty. She then channelled a little of Adam Lambert from same and fell a second time.

She slipped twice, but didn’t go BOOM. She falls at 0:19 and again at 2:52.

Rihanna Cut Dad Ronald Fenty Out of Her Life

Rihanna hasn’t spoken to her father, Ronald Fenty, in over a year-and-a-half.

The last time the two spoke she had invited him on tour and he was acting a mess. She had him sent home and claims after that time he hadn’t returned her calls. Today, her father Ronald Fenty says that is not the case. He has been WHAAAing to the media, saying his daughter has cut him from her life. If this is true, I can’t blame Rihanna. She’s had an awful year and doesn’t need someone with this many issues acting a fool around her or airing her dirty family laundry.

Perhaps Fenty could seek solace in the arms of Michael Lohan or Jon Gosselin. These chatterboxes can’t help but air out family business either. They need to be on a reality show together and stop bringing down their loved ones.

Susan Boyle’s Debut Album Tops the UK Charts

Susan Boyle’s debut album has become the fastest selling in Britain this year. It also scored the biggest first week sales for a debut in UK chart history.

The I Dreamed a Dream album entered the British charts on Sunday in the top slot, selling more than 410,000 copies. Earlier in the month, the record became the largest global CD pre-order in the 14-year history of Amazon. The website staff could be heard yelling YIPPEE and rounding up their over-priced/ badly-packaged crap, while looking forward to an early retirement.

The 48-year-old singer’s Britain’s Got Talent audition has been viewed over 300 million times, since it was broadcast in April this year.

David Hasselhoff Placed Under Psychiatric Hold

David Hasselhoff has been placed under an involuntary psychiatric hold.

This follows news on Friday that an ambulance was called to the star’s Encino home. A spokesperson for the L.A. City Fire Department confirmed paramedics arrived at 11.51 AM. The former Baywatch actor was treated for a seizure.

The 57-year-old was picked up under a 5150, allowing authorities to take into custody persons they believe may be a danger to themselves or others. This was the same code used for Britney Spears and Mischa Barton. Hasselhoff is being held at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center under the California Welfare and Institutions Code 5151. They can hold him for up to 72 hours for a psychiatric evaluation.

Hasselhoff’s daughter Hayley called 911 after her father took ill. It’s alleged that the former actor consumed a large amount of alcohol before being hospitalised.
