I don’t usually write about British celebs as they aren’t necessarily as ass-hat crazy/ newsworthy as their American cousins, but today is an exception.
Former Atomic Kitten singer and serial trainwreck, Kerry Katona as been made bankrupt [Website – Amy Grindhouse].
The ruling was made at the High Court after failing to pay her tax bill. After a hearing last month the singer and mother was given until today to tie up her financial loose ends. She didn’t.
According to NOW:
Kerry, 27, still had £82,000 outstanding from a total £417,000.
Luke Harris, representing Kerry, insisted funds were available but cheques had not been cleared.
But the registrar said he was ‘not in a position to assist further’.
